About

Tawanda is an artist-scholar whose creative, research, and consultancy praxes live at the intersection of embodied research methodologies, artificial intelligence, and the upliftment of the human quality of life from personal to communal scales. Tawanda explores the fluid constellations that constitute personhood in Black Afrikan lifeworlds and the material thinking that constitutes the practices of African-born creatives, thinkers, and innovators. Tawanda is curious about the mobilizations of embodied indigenous technologies in radical community and organizational learning. He is passionate about research justice, ethical and equitable artificial intelligence, and neoancestral creative processes. Tawanda revels in facilitating encounters of contemplation, transformation, and healing at the individual, and communal scale.
